Consultant Geriatrician - Surgical Liaison at The Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust, based at Russells Hall Hospital, Dudley (DY1 2HQ). This permanent, full-time consultant role offers a 10 PA timetable leading daily ward rounds across a dedicated 12‑bed Elderly Care ward and supporting perioperative patients on the surgical wards. You will provide perioperative input two afternoons a week, join the Care of the Elderly weekend ward round and a GIM weekend rota (1:22), and take responsibility for managing patient flow to meet specialist bed and ED performance targets. The role includes protected time for administration, clinical governance, audit, research and quality improvement, and involves supervising and training resident doctors while working within a multidisciplinary team to develop and expand surgical liaison services.

This opportunity is for experienced clinicians with MRCP (or equivalent), full GMC registration with a licence to practise and eligibility for the GMC specialist register or CESR, with training equivalent to UK CCST/CCT.
