This Consultant Haematologist post is a substantive, permanent 10 PA role based mainly at Kent & Canterbury Hospital (CT1 3NG), with one day a week at William Harvey Hospital, Ashford. You will run three weekly outpatient clinics — Haemophilia & Thrombosis, Immune Cytopenias (ITP/AIHA) and Myeloproliferative Neoplasms — plus a monthly Haemoglobinopathy clinic, provide laboratory support and take part in the 1-in-5 Haemostasis on‑call rota. The post includes ward and haem-oncology responsibilities on separate rotas supported by resident on‑call doctors, weekly MDT meetings, participation in clinical audit and governance, and supervision of Haematology trainees from the Kings/KSS programme. The salary band is £109,725–£145,478 and flexible working, job‑share and part‑time arrangements are supported.
This role will suit an experienced, clinically confident consultant with full GMC specialist registration (CCT or within six months), MRCP, FRCPath and laboratory experience.
