A fellowship-trained Consultant Spinal Surgeon is sought to join One Health Group’s growing spinal team based from 131 Psalter Lane, Sheffield (S11 8UX) with work across West and South Yorkshire. The role centres on assessing and operating on NHS patients referred via the NHS e‑Referral System, holding outreach clinics at multiple local sites and undertaking theatre lists in independent hospitals — so a willingness to travel is essential. Applicants should be on the GMC specialist register, have relevant sub‑specialist qualifications (for example FRCS orth), and either be in a substantive NHS post, a long‑term locum (12+ months) or have previously held a substantive NHS consultant post for at least three years. Practising privileges and Clinical Governance approval are required for each hospital where you operate, and the post is subject to DBS checks and standard onboarding.
