Play a central role in keeping the Humber Centre and Pine View safe and welcoming as a Control Room Operative / Receptionist for Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust in Willerby, Hull (HU10 6ED). This is a front-of-house, patient-facing post in a medium secure hospital where robust security and clear procedures are essential. You’ll manage access control, issue and maintain security equipment, use a range of IT systems and support staff, patients and visitors from the control room and reception. This is not a routine receptionist job: you must be alert, conscientious and able to work alone or as part of a small team. The role is Band 2, permanent and part-time, with a salary of £24,465 pa (unsocial hours enhancements payable). A DBS check is required and applicants should hold standard keyboard skills plus two GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths, with experience of working with the public and basic IT knowledge. Please note this vacancy does not meet UKVI Skilled Worker Visa sponsorship requirements.
