Would you like to share your counselling knowledge and skills to enhance and optimise the holistic interventions with patients in our ME/CFS service?
Are you inspired by working in and contributing to multi-disciplinary teams to support patient care beyond the therapy room?
Are you passionate about whole body-mind and supporting people to optimise their recovery following a viral health episode and adjust to living with persistent fatigue?
Do you hold a Level 4 Diploma in Counselling allowing you to apply for or already hold BACP accreditation?
Are you excited to develop our psychological professions workforce at RCHT and contribute to training and supervising other counsellors in training whilst enhancing your own professional development?
If the above questions spark your interest and you sense a good fit with the skills you have, we are keen to meet you to discuss our role within the Adult ME/CFS Service for a Band 6 Counsellor.
This exciting opportunity is to join an experienced specialist team with the Cornwall and Isles of Scilly ME/CFS Adult Service. The team provide life-span clinical services and work to NICE Guidance NG206 standards and recognises the long-term and systemic impacts of the condition.
Proposed interview date: 9th December 2024
To provide specialist counselling and targeted therapeutic interventions to support patients who have been referred to Cornwall & IoS Adult ME/CFS Service.
To work autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the service policies and procedures.
