Step into a senior nursing role within Doncaster & Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS FT as a Critical Care Sister/Charge Nurse based at Doncaster (DN2 5LT). This Band 6 post leads across a combined critical care capacity of 14 level 3 and 12 level 2 beds, providing care for a wide range of adult medical and surgical, emergency and elective patients. You will work a fixed rotation between Doncaster Critical Care and Bassetlaw Intensive Care Unit (this rotation is essential), supporting Band 7s, the Matron and Lead Nurse to manage staff and resources, maintain safe unit running in their absence and provide clinical leadership and expert support to colleagues of all grades.

This role is for an experienced, registered adult nurse with strong critical care skills (mechanical ventilation, CVVH/CITRATE, haemodynamic monitoring), NMC registration, a nursing degree and completion of specialist critical care modules; mentoring or assessing qualifications and supervisory experience are essential. The post is permanent, available full- or part-time, and offers Band 6 pay (£38,682–£46,580 pa pro rata) plus NHS Pension and a generous package of learning, development and wellbeing benefits.
