Step into a hands-on role at Liverpool University Dental Hospital as a Dental Healthcare Assistant, supporting registered dental nurses to deliver high-quality care across all dental specialities. You will assist with preparation of instruments and materials, support patients with personal care needs including toileting and incontinence, help with movement and handling within safe practice guidelines, collect specimens and escort patients across departments. The role also involves routine observations, basic life support when needed, maintaining patient confidentiality and dignity, and contributing to a clean, safe environment through stock control, waste disposal and basic clerical duties. NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) is essential, basic computer skills and previous caring experience are desirable, and an enhanced DBS check is required.

This permanent, full-time Band 2 post (salary £24,465 pa) is based at Liverpool University Dental Hospital, Pembroke Place, Liverpool (L3), and sits within Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust – part of the wider NHS University Hospitals of Liverpool Group.
