An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Deputy Divisional Manager to join the Children and Young People’s division.
This is a high profile, challenging and rewarding leadership role within the Trust with an emphasis on innovation, achieving operational and financial performance, and improving staff wellbeing. This role offers significant exposure to senior leadership across the organisation, the opportunity to lead on large scale projects management and the division is passionate about developing people to fulfil their career development goals.
We are looking for dynamic individuals who can demonstrate initiative and a commitment to improving children and young people’s care through experience of operational delivery and collaborative leadership and solution focused thinking. Reporting to the Divisional Manager you will provide strategic and operational leadership, for a division that employs over 400 staff and has a turnover of £55m.
The Deputy Divisional Manager is responsible for providing leadership of staff and services across the division, including ensuring that all staff and services in the teams deliver agreed standards of excellence. They will have responsibility for the overall effective and efficient management of all CYP services. To be an active member of the CYP Divisional Senior Team, contributing to the strategic direction and decision making on operational matters.
Performance lead: be accountable for delivery of all key workforce, financial, quality, and operational performance indicators. Development and implementation of the Paediatric and adolescent daycare unit and relocation, and T15 Private healthcare expansion business cases, including operational implementation of these programmes within the context of existing CYP service delivery, alongside the clinical and private healthcare team. To be the senior point of contact for escalation for operational issues, with support from the Divisional Manager as required.
The post will deputise, where appropriate for the Divisional Manager, Divisional Clinical Director and General Manager and other members of the operational and clinical leadership team, in their absence. We support flexible working applications, and within this there is a requirement for the role to be on site at least 80% of the working week, to support staff on site and provide visible leadership and problem solving.
