Job description
Eden Futures is recruiting a Deputy Specialist Service Manager in Newark (NG24) to support adults aged 18+ with learning disabilities, autism and mental ill health within their Supported Living services. This permanent, full‑time role (37.5 hours; annual salary £26,675) is ideal for a developing leader ready to step into management: you’ll be released from shift for 2–3 shifts each week to carry out managerial duties. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include recruiting and inducting staff, providing structured supervision and training needs analysis, leading team meetings, overseeing timesheets and annual leave, undertaking on‑call duties, supporting performance and conduct processes, and ensuring person‑centred support plans, risk assessments and commissioned hours are delivered to a high standard. You’ll work with multi‑disciplinary teams and external stakeholders (Adult Social Care, CCGs) and help prepare for audits and inspections. Successful applicants must have an Enhanced DBS; Eden Futures cannot offer sponsorship for this vacancy. Closing date: 05 December 2025.
