INTERNAL ONLY TO NORTH CUMBRIA INTEGRATED CARE NHS FOUNDATION TRUST (NCIC) EMPLOYEES ONLYDomestic Assistant (WCH) - 20 hours per week - Monday to Friday 9am to 1pm.To promote and provide a high standard of cleanliness on our hospital wards, clinical areas and other trust premises
Main duties of the job
Vacuum/sweep, mop floorsFloor buffingShampoo carpets with extraction machinesLow/high damp dustingClean inside windows, frames and sillsClean furniture and fittings, mirrors etc, to include moving of furniture and equipment as required to enable efficient cleaningAssist in induction of new staffRoutine cleaning and basic maintenance of cleaning equipmentAttend all Mandatory training sessionsOrder weekly stores and put away on deliveryAll staff are expected to work to the Trust Values:Kindness- Kindness and compassion cost nothing, yet accomplish agreat deal.Respect- We are respective to everyone and are open, honest and fair- respect behaviours.Ambition- We set goals to achieve the best for our patients, teams,organisations and our partners.Collaboration- We are stronger and better working together with andfor our patients.Works as part of a team maintaining a high standard of cleanliness on hospital wards, clinical areas and other Trust premises.
