As a Domestic Assistant at Broadgreen Hospital (Liverpool, L14) you’ll work part‑time evenings Monday–Friday for three hours each day between 5pm and 8pm. The role involves cleaning wards, clinics, offices and external areas to NHS infection‑control standards, preparing patient areas and occasionally using cleaning and floor‑polishing machinery. Previous domestic experience and GCSE (or equivalent) are essential; the post is permanent, Band 2 (£24,465 pa pro rata), subject to DBS checks, and offers regular overtime if you want extra hours.

This position is ideal for practical, organised carers — particularly women juggling family or childcare — who need predictable shifts and value working within a large, supportive NHS employer. You’ll be part of Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, helping directly to maintain high standards of patient care while receiving on‑the‑job training and local career stability.
