As a Domestic Assistant at Alderney Hospital in Poole you’ll fill a permanent, part‑time floater role of 20 hours per week (Band 2, Agenda for Change), covering shifts that can fall between 8am and 8pm. The role is hands‑on and practical: maintaining high standards of cleanliness across clinical wards and non‑clinical areas through vacuuming, mopping, damp dusting, cleaning bathrooms and toilets, emptying bins and operating mechanical floor‑cleaning machines. Full on‑site training and appropriate PPE are provided, and the Trust will cover the cost of the required Standard DBS check (applicants on the DBS update service may present a valid certificate). Please note applicants who require Skilled Worker sponsorship are not eligible for this post.
