Main duties of the job
The post holder is responsible for carrying out specific cleaning and other related duties, following set procedure and standards to provide and maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the hospital and designated wards or departments.To perform domestic duties including:General cleaningIsolation cleaningHigh and low dustingWet and dry moppingClean toilets, baths and washbasins.Emptying clinical and general waste bins and placing bags in designated areasVacuum CleaningScrubbing and buffing floors with mechanical machineCarpet shampooingUsing chemicals and cleaning equipment responsibly and within health and safety guidelines.Maintaining staff and public safety through appropriate use of warning signage whilst cleaning.Full training will be provided to the successful candidate
