Play a vital role at the Bristol Heart Institute supporting Echocardiographers and Cardiologists to deliver excellent patient care. As an Echocardiography Assistant you will prepare patients for echocardiograms, provide compassionate support before, during and after scans, liaise with relatives and the wider multidisciplinary team, and keep accurate electronic records. The role combines hands-on patient care (including safe patient handling and basic cardiovascular observations) with administrative duties, so strong communication, IT confidence and a caring, organised approach are essential. A Basic Life Support certificate is required and previous NHS or HCA experience is beneficial.

This part‑time, flexible fixed‑term role (10 months) is Band 2, salary £24,465 pro rata, based at Bristol Royal Infirmary (BS2).
