Job description
We are seeking an energetic, enthusiastic and flexible family therapist to contribute to the FEDs (Feeding and Eating Disorders Service) at a time of change and development. There will be opportunities to contribute to a service developments within the FEDS team itself as well as in the Family Therapy stream more widely. It is an opportunity to develop your knowledge and skills working with experienced colleagues.
In addition to FEDS, the post holder would join a team of six family therapists who are part of Psychological Services and who work as part of GOSH mental health services and with paediatric specialities across the wider hospital.
The successful candidate will be working in the Feeding and Eating Disorders Service (FEDS). The work includes direct therapeutic work, consultation, supervision, teaching and training. It may also include consultation to wider networks and services. In addition to which, there will be opportunities to the service's ongoing development.
At the same time, there are opportunities to gain experience working alongside other experienced Family Therapy and other colleagues across the hospital. Family Therapy is highly valued at GOSH and professional development is encouraged and well supported.
