Support adults with a learning disability in Arnold, Nottinghamshire as a Female Support Worker with Thera East Midlands. In this on-site, permanent role (full- and part-time options) you’ll use a person-centred approach to help people develop life skills, manage their home, access the community, pursue leisure and employment, and work towards personal goals. The role is varied and practical — from personal and emotional support to travel and activity planning — and suits compassionate, confident women who are resilient, motivated and enjoy creative problem solving. No previous experience is required; a full UK driving licence is preferred but not essential. This post is female-only under Paragraph 1, Schedule 9 of the Equality Act, is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and is subject to an Enhanced DBS check.

Earn £12.60 per hour with annualised hours that guarantee a regular monthly salary, plus overtime opportunities, flexible working to help with caring responsibilities, and immediate interview/quick start where possible (subject to pre-employment checks).
