As a Female Support Worker with Real Life Options in the Durham/Hartlepool area (TS25), you’ll deliver person‑centred domiciliary and supported living care for people with learning disabilities and autism. Permanent full‑time and part‑time roles pay £12.21 per hour and include varied shifts — mornings, evenings, nights, weekends and sleep‑in cover (sleepover allowance applies). Your day‑to‑day will involve personal care, medication support, meal preparation, domestic tasks, helping with finances and supporting meaningful community activities, so you should be comfortable working outdoors and be flexible. A full UK driving licence is preferred, applicants must be over 18 and a DBS for adults and children is required; previous care experience is desirable but full accredited training, shadow shifts and ongoing support are provided.

This role is well suited to women who are compassionate, reliable and keen to work in a supportive, values‑driven setting. Benefits include a minimum of 28 days’ paid holiday (pro‑rata), employer pension contributions, a Health Cash Plan, £10,000 life cover, an Employee Assistance Programme, Cycle to Work and other wellbeing and recognition schemes.
