Make a real, hands‑on difference as a Female Support Worker in Melksham with Voyage Care. This permanent, full‑time role (pay £12.34–£12.84ph) involves supporting adults with complex needs—delivering personal care, teaching life skills, encouraging community access and social activities, and working with Positive Behaviour Support plans. Typical shifts run on a rota between 07:00–14:00 and 14:00–21:00, Monday to Sunday; a full UK driving licence is required as public transport isn’t available to get you to shifts on time. This vacancy is for female applicants only where a genuine occupational requirement applies under the Equality Act 2010.
Voyage Care offers practical rewards that suit carers: enhanced evening and weekend pay, premium overtime, Wagestream access to earned pay, a funded Blue Light Card, 24/7 doctor support and cash plans that can cover family members. You’ll receive thorough induction training, ongoing development and clear routes for progression within a sector‑leading organisation, plus long service recognition and enhanced retirement leave. DBS and satisfactory references are required. If you’re resilient, composed and passionate about helping people live more independently, find this role on jobsincare.com and click the "Apply Now" button to apply.
