Based in Yaxley, Peterborough, Mencap is recruiting Female Support Workers to provide hands-on care and companionship for adults with learning disabilities. The role pays £12.21 per hour and requires you to be a driver. You will support people with their day‑to‑day activities and offer emotional support, working across 24‑hour services with shifts that include evenings, weekends, holidays and sleep‑ins (sleep‑in payments are an enhanced flat rate of £63.70). Rotas are planned at least four weeks ahead to help you balance work and life. Contracts are flexible — full‑time options and 25‑hour contracts are available — and all appointments are subject to an enhanced DBS check and suitable references.
