Job description
You’ll provide hands‑on care and companionship for a vibrant young woman with a severe acquired brain injury and complex medical needs, including epilepsy and a gastrostomy. Duties include full personal care, manual handling/hoisting, medication administration (training provided), daily records, light domestic tasks, therapy‑led sensory activities (music, painting, baking, messy play), community outings in the electric van and supporting home education with her teacher. No prior experience is essential if you’re calm, confident, compassionate and reliable — gastrostomy experience is beneficial but training and ongoing development are provided. You’ll be working in a respectful family environment and should be comfortable supporting the client’s Christian routines (music/reading).
