Make a real difference overnight as a Female Waking Night Support Worker with Mencap in Needham Market (Ipswich). This permanent role pays £12.21 per hour and is available full-time (37.5 hrs) or part-time with flexible hours. You’ll work waking nights (22:00–07:00) supporting adults with learning disabilities — assisting with daily routines, offering emotional support, building meaningful relationships and keeping people safe and comfortable through the night. Rotas are prepared at least four weeks in advance to help you plan your life; shifts can include evenings, weekends and bank holidays. The role requires an enhanced DBS check and suitable references, but Mencap welcomes applicants with the right values and will provide training to help you succeed.
