A daytime description: This Female Waking Night Support Worker role, based in the Bury/Manchester area, offers permanent full-time waking night shifts at £12.36 per hour supporting vulnerable adults to live as independently as possible. You will deliver practical and emotional care in line with individual support plans — preparing meals, helping with laundry and household tasks, supporting social activities, maintaining accurate records and liaising with families and professionals. The role requires working shifts, including weekends, bank holidays and occasional sleep‑ins; the post is specifically for female applicants to meet the needs of service users.

Who this is for and why it’s rewarding: CareTech is an experienced provider of specialist social care and a Disability Confident Leader, offering a full induction mapped to Care Certificate standards, an enhanced DBS paid by the employer, 28 days’ holiday (including bank holidays), flexible working options and staff benefits such as an Employee Assistance Programme, recognition awards, referral rewards and opportunities for career progression and CareTech Foundation grants.
