Primary Care Physio in Pewsey, Wiltshire is offering an exciting opportunity for a First Contact Physiotherapist to make a tangible impact on patient care in GP practices. You will be working on-site as part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team, independently assessing, diagnosing, and managing musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions from the first point of contact. With a focus firmly on personalised, integrated patient care, this role allows you to utilise and develop advanced skills, including injection therapy and independent prescribing. With 12.5+ days of protected Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and supervision time, as well as funded training opportunities, this position empowers you not only to hone your expertise but also to elevate the standards of MSK care. Embrace the opportunity to work with an award-winning organisation certified as a Great Place to Work, which truly puts people first.
Joining this role means you'll be at the forefront of refining local MSK care pathways while collaborating closely with GPs, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. You will contribute to service improvement initiatives and clinical audits, providing informal guidance on MSK triage pathways to your colleagues. Being actively involved in shaping the future of MSK care, you'll also have a chance to participate in leadership activities, mentoring, and peer reflection sessions, all while aligning your development with the HEE Roadmap to Practice.
