NHS England in Rotherham is offering a transformative opportunity as a Functional Skills Tutor at Choices College, part of a supported internship programme that helps young adults with learning difficulties, disabilities, or autism. This rewarding role is perfect for those passionate about shaping futures and supporting students in becoming employment-ready. You'll be pivotal in delivering bespoke Maths and English training, ensuring our interns' success academically and socially, while meeting regulatory standards. The role is dynamic, involving two days in Rotherham and the remainder working remotely. Ideal candidates will be degree-qualified, holding a Level 3 post-16/adult teaching qualification, and have robust experience working with students with SEN (Special Educational Needs). A driving licence and vehicle are essential, as is your ability to communicate confidently and effectively with diverse learners. Drawing on your strong report writing skills and experience in both group and 1:1 instructional settings, you'll have the opportunity to innovate and differentiate within the classroom.
