Primary Care 24 in Liverpool (L23 1TQ) is seeking a compassionate General Practitioner to deliver high‑quality, patient‑centred care across Thornton and Crossways practices. The role involves full clinical responsibility for assessment, diagnosis and management plans, medicine management and occasional urgent tests, plus integration of social prescribing. You will work closely with clinical leads, the medical director and wider NHS colleagues, keeping high standards of clinical records and reports. The post is ideal for a GP with full GMC registration and licence to practise, a minimum of two years’ post‑qualification primary care experience, an enhanced DBS, safeguarding level 3 and confidence using EMIS and Adastra systems.
This permanent, full‑time (40‑hour) role offers structured clinic days — Monday at Crossways and Tuesday, Thursday and Friday at Thornton — with the chance to build a portfolio that fits your interests and supports a healthy work–life balance. The package is competitive (salary up to c. £128k DOE), with 27 days’ annual leave (pro rata), NHS pension, NHS car fleet and cycle‑to‑work schemes, plus a colleague wellbeing package. Primary Care 24 is a long‑standing not‑for‑profit social enterprise that reinvests surplus in staff and patients, making it a supportive choice for women clinicians and carers seeking predictable hours and development.
