Job description
Based at Riverside Medical Practice in Horsham (RH12), this part‑time permanent Health Care Assistant role offers hands‑on work in a modern, newly refurbished GP surgery with a growing list of around 11,400 patients. Working closely with the Nursing and Clinical teams you will deliver a range of primary care services including NHS Health Checks, blood‑pressure monitoring and ECG recording, urinalysis, simple wound care and removal of sutures/clips, ear irrigation, spirometry, and health promotion and lifestyle advice. You will also administer flu vaccinations and vitamin B12 injections under PSD and assist with IUCD and contraceptive implant procedures, developing practical clinical skills in a supportive environment. The rate of pay is £14.75 per hour and the post requires a DBS check.
