The successful candidate will workclosely with our Nursing and Clinical teams to provide a wide range of patientservices.We are a friendly, newly refurbished, andmodern GP practice with a growing list size of over 11,400 patients. As ourpractice continues to expand, we are looking for an enthusiastic, kind, caringand compassionate Health Care Assistant (HCA) to join our supportive NursingTeam.
Main duties of the job
Key responsibilities include:- NHS Health Checks- Blood pressure monitoring and ECG recording- Urinalysis and simple wound care- Removal of sutures and clips- Ear irrigation- Health promotion and lifestyle advice- Administration of flu vaccinations and vitamin B12 injections under PSD- Spirometry- Assistance with IUCD and Contraceptive Implant procedures
