Health Care Assistant - Treatment Centre at Mersey and West Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, based in Ormskirk (L39). This permanent Band 3 post (Agenda for Change) offers full- or part-time hours with a pro rata salary of £24,937–£26,598 and involves working across Southport and Ormskirk sites. The role covers admission and recovery duties, supporting patients in procedure rooms after training, rotating through different roles and specialities (gastroenterology, urology, colorectal, respiratory and vascular), and assisting registered staff with clinical tasks such as observations, specimen collection and basic procedures. You will join a multidisciplinary endoscopy team working towards JAG accreditation; structured mentoring, in-house and external training and an emphasis on compassionate, patient-centred care are provided.
