Care for patients on Ward M1 at Wirral University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, supporting Registered Nurses and the multidisciplinary team to put individual care plans into practice. This Health Care Assistant role is hands‑on and patient‑centred: you will provide personal care (bathing, toileting, feeding and end‑of‑life support), carry out routine observations using automated devices (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, oxygen saturations and respiratory rate), take basic measurements such as height and weight, and help maintain a safe environment through light clerical and domestic duties. You’ll be asked to observe and report changes in patients’ condition, demonstrate duties to new starters and work closely within a supportive team — a role that will particularly appeal to women job seekers and carers who want meaningful, compassionate work with flexible hours.
