Effecting monitoring of patient recalls and supporting the Practice Nurse with the management of Chronic Disease Clinics. Support the Practice Nurse with health Promotion Programmes. Act as chaperone as required. Ensure specimens are recorded and ready for onward transportation. When trained administer Flu vaccinations and other vaccinations/B12s.Communicate courteously and effectively with patients,relatives and carers.Ensure the practice treatment/consulting rooms are kept in a clean and tidy state and that equipment is in working order,clean and available for use.To ensure that the drug refrigerators are at the correcttemperature and that drugs are within their expiry dates and used in correctsequence. To fridges are cleaned routinely.Ensure Clinical sharp's bins are correctly stored and managed within clinical areas, and disposed of safely.Ordering as appropriate,ensuring that adequate levels of stock are available and stocking rooms.Report all matters pertaining to patient care to a relevant member of the nursing ormedical team as a matter of priority and to ensure that a document record iskept.
