Job description
NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. The Healthcare Support Worker carries out direct patient care in support of and supervised by a Registered Nurse. Applicants must have a caring disposition and the ability to work with others as part of a multidisciplinary team. Good verbal and written communication skills and literacy and numeracy skills are essential. Applicants must have the ability to fulfil the requirements of the Band 2 job description including undertaking practice development programmes.
