Make a real difference as a Health Care Support Worker on Ward 10 (Respiratory) at the Princess of Wales Hospital in Bridgend (CF31) with Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board. You will work under the direction of a registered nurse to deliver high standards of care, supporting patients who may have complex physical and cognitive needs. The role suits someone reliable, organised and compassionate who can use initiative, communicate well and work as part of a team. Training is provided for candidates without previous experience of elder care; a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check is required and Welsh speaking/listening skills at Level 3 are desirable but not essential.

This permanent role is offered on Agenda for Change Band 2, with a salary of £24,833 pro rata and flexible full- or part-time hours; common shift patterns include 12.5‑hour shifts with breaks, so flexibility is needed.
