Job description
As a Health Care Support Worker with Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board based in Ruthin (LL15), you will support the District Nursing Service across Denbighshire by assisting registered nurses and practitioners to deliver safe, person‑centred care in patients’ homes. The role involves carrying out care set out in nursing care plans, working closely with patients, families, carers and other health professionals, and completing a wide range of duties under the direction of a registered nurse each shift. You will need to travel between town and rural locations in a timely way; Welsh speakers are especially welcome but not essential.
This permanent, full‑time post is band 3 on the Agenda for Change pay scale (£25,313–£26,999 pro rata) and offers the chance to work for the largest health organisation in Wales with supportive leadership, career development aligned to the ‘Proud to Lead’ framework and a commitment to equality and the Disability Confident Employer scheme.
