Main duties of the job
- To provide a quality clerical service to the Health Records departments and customers.
- To provide a high standard of customer service to patients and other Health Board staff in a range of departments including Receptions and other Health Records departments such as Library Services, Referrals and Inpatients and Clinic preparation.
- Provide high quality administrative service to patients, doctors, and colleagues by being the first point of contact for patients as an Outpatient reception desk. Greet patients and arrive and update their details on our Patient Administration system, as well as completing the outcome of their appointment once provided by the clinician.
- Provide high quality administrative duties including filing/retrieving patient records, inputting data onto our Patient Administration system such as updating patient demographics/tracking of physical health records and supporting the progression of digitisation of patient records by preparing and scanning patient documentation to our Clinical Workstation system which allows clinicians and other colleagues to access information electronically in a timely and efficient manner.
