You’ll give clear, confident advice on safety matters affecting staff, patients and visitors, support incident investigations, and maintain the trust’s database of risk assessments and safe systems of work. Working alongside the Health & Safety Manager and across clinical and non-clinical teams, you’ll help embed a positive safety culture that meets statutory regulations and CQC standards. If you’re a carer or someone with hands-on experience who wants to use those skills to protect colleagues and patients, this role offers meaningful responsibility, visible impact and ongoing development. The RUH is known for its supportive, inclusive culture — ranked among the top hospitals to work for — with strong staff wellbeing programmes, learning opportunities and a commitment to career progression.
