Job description
Be the administrative backbone of the Advanced Primary Care Service (APCS) for Shropshire Community Health NHS Trust, based in Telford (TF7). As a Healthcare Administrator you will deliver high-standard support to clinical teams: manage and reschedule patient appointments, process e‑referrals, maintain accurate electronic and paper records, place stock orders for clinics and handle telephone enquiries from health professionals, patients and carers. The role requires a calm, confident manner for sometimes sensitive or contentious calls, strong attention to detail and good IT skills (Excel/Access; ECDL/RSA II or equivalent desirable). Experience of RIO, Summary Care Record and Oracle is advantageous. The post is Telford-based with occasional travel to Bridgnorth, Oswestry and Shrewsbury, and is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service check.
