Main duties of the job You must possess excellent administrative and time management skills, be computer literate and be able to deal with complex information, complaints and at times, contentious telephone calls from patients. Knowledge of medical terminology and previous
Experience of RIO, e-referrals, Summary Care Record & Oracle would be an advantage but not essential.To be the first point of contact for all services within locality area.Answer and deal with all telephone enquiries from Health Care Professionals, Service Users and Carers in a courteous, professional and confident manner sign posting as appropriate and necessary.Maintain appropriate records both manually and computerised for all referrals for all services.Deal direct with the patients and carers working within the relevant service guidelines.This post will be based in Telford, however an ability to travel to our current sites at Bridgnorth, Oswestry and Shrewsbury would be beneficial.
