Job Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team on the Discharge Lounge at Huddersfield Royal Infirmary
The successful candidate will need to be adaptable, use their own initiative and work well within a team.
You must be computer literate and have excellent communication skills and customer service.
The discharge lounge is a fast paced, ever changing environment with a diverse clientele on a day to day basis.

Main duties of the job
Collecting patients from a variety of departments on the day of discharge, meeting the hygiene needs of patients, supporting with nutrition and hydration, assisting with mobility.
There is a variety of IT and computer work involved within the role For example, patient documentation, online booking of transport, information gathering from online patient records.
Other main duties include communication with families, care homes and community teams both verbally and electronically.

We provide a range of services including urgent and emergency care; medical; surgical; maternity; gynaecology; critical care; children's and young people's services; end of life care and outpatient and diagnostic imaging services.
We provide community health services, including sexual health services in Calderdale from Calderdale Royal and local health centres. These include Todmorden Health Centre and Broad Street Plaza.
We continue to modernise and invest in our health services to build on our strong reputation.Foundation trusts are public leaders in improving quality in health services.
