Support clinicians and care for patients across Howdale and Marham as a Healthcare Assistant with Howdale Group Practice in Downham Market (PE38). This permanent, part‑time role sees you working at both sites, assisting practice nurses and administrative teams to deliver clinical and preventative care. Daily duties include baseline observations (BP, temperature, pulse oximetry), venepuncture, wound care and dressings, ECGs, chaperoning, routine fridge and stock checks, safe clinical waste handling and opportunistic health promotion. You’ll work within clear clinical procedures and be a trusted point of contact for patients, using existing HCA and phlebotomy skills while developing others such as vaccinations when trained.
Ideal for experienced carers who value practical, hands‑on work and a supportive team, the role asks for an HCA Care Certificate and phlebotomy qualification (desirable: Level 3/4 healthcare study and vaccination certification).
