Job description
Make a real difference to older people across Ely and nearby villages as a Healthcare Assistant with Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust, based at the Princess of Wales Hospital (Ely, CB6). You will work with the Community Nursing Team delivering person‑centred care in patients’ homes and residential settings, following care plans and supporting people with complex needs. Duties include venepuncture, insulin administration, wound care and promoting independence, all carried out under clinical supervision with timely SystmOne record‑keeping and clear communication with nursing staff.
This permanent Band 3 role (salary £24,937–£26,598 pro rata) is ideal for carers with prior health or social care experience who hold a BTEC/NVQ Level 3 and a full UK driving licence with use of a vehicle — public transport is not suitable.
