Job description
Work as a full‑time Healthcare Assistant (Health Care Support Worker) on Ffynnon Ward B at Holywell Community Hospital (CH8) supporting planned, holistic care for patients. You will work within a nursing team under the indirect supervision of the nurse in charge, assisting registered nurses with nursing treatments, carrying out delegated clinical and therapeutic tasks, maintaining accurate records and supporting patients, their families and carers throughout the shift. This is a permanent Band 2 role (£24,833 per annum) that requires flexibility to meet service needs and a caring, practical approach to day‑to‑day patient support.
This post is suited to people with experience working with the public and a good general education; candidates should have or be prepared to obtain QCF Level 2 within six months. The successful applicant will be a reliable team player with clear communication skills; the ability to speak Welsh is desirable but not essential.
