Medical Ward 2
HEALTHCARE ASSISTANT
Band 3 £26,869 to £28,998 per annum
Distant Islands Allowance £1,349 per annum
37 hours per week

A vacancy has arisen for a Healthcare Assistant in Medical ward 2. Medical ward 2 consists of general medical and stroke rehabilitation beds.
Applicants should be committed to providing a high standard of care and interact well within a multi-disciplinary team. Applicants should have good communication skills; previous experience working within health or social would be desirable but not essential. Day night rotation as well as weekend working is essential for this post
The successful candidate will need to achieve the Mandatory Induction Standards for Healthcare Support Workers and comply with the Code of Conduct within three months of full time employment or up to six months for part time workers.
