Healthcare Assistant for County Durham & Darlington NHS Foundation Trust based at Franziska Willer Ward, Sedgefield Community Hospital, Stockton-on-Tees (TS21). You’ll support qualified nurses on an elderly rehabilitation ward, delivering personal care, helping with hygiene and toileting, supporting nutrition and mobilisation, taking observations and keeping accurate records. Day-to-day you’ll communicate with patients, relatives and the multi‑disciplinary team to promote independence and the best recovery outcomes. This is a permanent post at Agenda for Change Band 3 (salary £24,465–£26,598 pro rata) with full‑time and part‑time hours available on a well‑established ward praised by patients and families.
