Healthcare Assistant
Full Time (40hrs)
Monday-Saturday (Saturday on shared rota basis)
From £25,396pa (Increasing With Relevant Skill Set/experience)
We are looking for an experienced healthcare assistant to work full time at Stratum Clinic in Wimbledon. The successful candidate will undertake clinical activities as directed and under the supervision of the Lead Nurse.
Duties And Responsibilities Include

We are looking for an experienced healthcare assistant to work full time at Stratum Clinic in Wimbledon. The successful candidate will undertake clinical activities as directed and under the supervision of the Lead Nurse.
Duties And Responsibilities Include
- Supporting our consultant dermatologists with consultations and surgical assistance in theatre (MOHS, Mole/lesion excisions, biopsies, and shaves)
- Venesection
- Wound checks, dressing change, and stitch removal post-surgery
- Maintaining infection control standards in line with CQC
- daily clinic checks
- Maintaining stock
- Promoting high standards of clinical care to our patients across the board
- Ensuring clinical audits, policies, procedures, and medical governance standards
- Care Certificate or higher
- Venepuncture/Phlebotomy experience (essential)
- Background/Interest in Dermatology (desirable)
- A real passion for patient care and delivering
- A good understanding of CQC policies relating to a clinical environment
- Good communicator and team player
