Job description
Support people and families at the end of life as a Marie Curie Healthcare Assistant covering Catterick, Northallerton, Leyburn and surrounding areas (DL9). This overnight, part‑time role (27 hours/3 night shifts or 18 hours/2 night shifts) delivers one‑to‑one Hospice Care at Home, helping with personal care, symptom monitoring, medication support, record keeping and vital emotional support. The post is permanent, paid at Agenda for Change Band 2 (£24,465 pro rata) with attractive enhancements for night, weekend and bank‑holiday work (including enhanced pay rates for Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays). You’ll work independently from patients’ homes, using established care plans and your judgement to make a real difference at a sensitive time.
