Make a real difference at Diaverum's Nottingham (NG2) renal clinic as a part‑time Healthcare Assistant. You will work under the supervision of a registered nurse to support patient-centred dialysis care: cleaning and preparing equipment and treatment packs, taking pre- and post-dialysis observations, escorting patients around the clinic and serving refreshments during treatment. This permanent role is 23 hours per week (two long days), Monday to Saturday with no nights or Sundays, and offers a pro rata salary of £23,810–£24,474 plus overtime paid at time and a half after full‑time hours. The role suits someone with GCSE-level education and NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent), and is ideal for carers balancing family life who want meaningful, hands-on work close to home.
Diaverum provides a structured professional training programme — on-the-job coaching, e-learning and access to the in‑house d Academy — so you can grow in renal care and pursue progression opportunities. Benefits include 35 days’ holiday (including bank holidays), paid breaks, free uniform, flu vaccine, life assurance, pension and staff perks, and the clinic’s nurse-led, on‑floor management culture means strong team support and real time learning. This role requires a satisfactory DBS check and the ability to work clinically in a renal setting.
