A vacancy has arisen for a HCA to work 18 hours per week at our GP practice at Ravenscar Surgery inside of Redcar Primary Care Hospital.This is a permanent part-time position.
Experience
of working in a primary care setting is essential and ideally the applicant would have a minimum of 2 years
Experience
of working as a HCA in a GP Practice. In general, the post holder will be expected to undertake all of the normal duties and responsibilities associated with a Healthcare Assistant working within General Practice, to include: Phlebotomy, Healthy Heart Checks, Long term condition reviews, ECGs, Pre Diabetic checks. There will also be a requirement to assist the Nurse with Dopplers.We reserve the right to close this vacancyearly if a suitable candidate is appointed.
Main duties of the job
Working under supervision of the Practice Nurse and independently and in collaboration with the rest of the practice team, the post-holder will make him/her-self available to undertake a variety of healthcare related duties. This role takes the responsibility for the delivery of patient care and health and wellbeing delivery. You will also have some responsibility for management ofpractice stock and consumables.YOU MUST HAVE:
