Main duties of the job
As our new Healthcare Assistant, your responsibilities will vary. Some of your duties will include:
- Ensure continuity of care for all patients, and deliver outstanding care at all times
- Work across all areas of care, including inpatients, clinics, primary care, health promotion, bloods etc
- Respond to emergency situations as needed
- Work holistically with your patients and other healthcare staff, including nurses, nursing associates, pharmacy etc
- Deliver personalised, non judgemental care, based on patient feedback
- Contribute to, and implement care packages, assist with health promotion, wellbeing and clinics

Our New Healthcare Assistant Will
- Hold a NVQ Level 2 / 3 in Health & Social Care, or equivalent work experience
- Experience in a healthcare environment - hospital, prison or within the community
- Have a keen interest in care - we offer lots of training and development opportunities and can help you work towards your interests and career goals!
- Although not essential, your own vehicle would be beneficial due to the location of the site
