Job description
Play a key role in safeguarding patient care as an administrative linchpin for the Healthcare Standards Team at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust, based in Worcester (WR5). You will manage the team inbox and diary, organise and co‑ordinate CQC inspections and internal assurance visits, maintain evidence files and central databases, prepare reports and presentations, and set up MS Teams spaces for multi‑team working. This permanent Band 3 post (salary £24,937–£26,598) is offered full‑time (37.5 hours) or part‑time (30 hours) with flexible working — the Trust holds Timewise accreditation and is supportive of colleagues with caring responsibilities, making this an attractive role for women and carers seeking practical, adaptable hours alongside meaningful work.
This opportunity suits organised, discreet and digitally confident candidates who enjoy making systems run smoothly and improving quality across services. Essential requirements include recognised IT skills with Word, Excel and PowerPoint, diary management experience, GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent) and the ability to communicate sensitively with staff, patients and external partners; NHS experience and familiarity with MS Teams are desirable. You will gain hands‑on experience in governance, quality improvement and CQC preparation within a large, patient‑centred Trust; a DBS check will be required. Please note the vacancy is currently open only to staff employed in Herefordshire and Worcestershire NHS organisations.
