Make a meaningful contribution in York Hospital’s Critical Care Unit as a Healthcare Support Worker with York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. In this practical, hands-on role you’ll support registered nurses to deliver compassionate, dignified care to critically ill patients and their families, help manage equipment and stock, and keep the unit running smoothly as part of a multi‑disciplinary team. The post is permanent (Band 2, £24,465 pa), offers full‑ and part‑time hours, and requires flexible shift working including days, nights and weekends. A Disclosure and Barring Service check is required and interviews are held in person at York Hospital.
