Support adults with mental health needs in their own homes and the community as a Health Care Support Worker within the Adult Community Mental Health Team based at Bryntirion Resource Centre, Welshpool (SY21). This fixed‑term role (3 years) is part‑time and paid at Agenda for Change Band 3 (pro rata). You will work under the direction of mental health practitioners to deliver recovery‑focused rehabilitation and practical support, working closely within a multi‑disciplinary team. The post requires NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent), strong written and verbal communication, the ability to manage stressful situations and travel between sites; Welsh language skills and basic IT ability are desirable. A Disclosure and Barring Service check is required and applications from those who may need Skilled Worker sponsorship will be considered.
