Job description
Work intensively with a small caseload (up to six service users) for visible, meaningful outcomes
Mostly daytime shifts (08:30–16:30) with only one late night on Wednesdays — family-friendly routine
Permanent Band 3 role with clear pay band, £24,937–£26,598 (pro rata for part-time)

Provide hands-on, compassionate care within the Eating Disorders Day Support Programme at April House, Southampton. You will support up to six adults with Anorexia Nervosa through meal supervision, food shopping and preparation, psychoeducation, one‑to‑one and group work, and physical health monitoring. The role mixes practical support in a community outpatient setting with administrative duties, accurate clinical record keeping, involvement in audits and service improvement, and occasional work in the community alongside a multidisciplinary team including a dietitian, mental health nurses, an occupational therapist and fellow healthcare support workers.
This permanent Band 3 post offers clear pay (£24,937–£26,598 pro rata), flexible working and a predictable pattern of mostly daytime shifts (DSP runs 08:30–16:30 Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri and until 19:30 on Wednesdays). Essential requirements include literacy and numeracy, a driving licence with business insurance and access to a vehicle, and a DBS check.
